Laurie provides strategic consulting services for a diverse group of global clients in the entertainment, financial services, healthcare and retail industries. Her strong background in strategic communications, education and technology enables her to design interfaces that are easy to use and understand.

With extensive experience in e-commerce sites, Web-based applications and Web 2.0 technologies, some of Laurie’s notable work includes: 

• Architecting the original Wal-Mart.com site
• Design and consultation for an online wedding registry product for Martha Steward Omnimedia 
• User experience architecture, business analysis, technical documentation and testing for a new Sarbanes-Oxley compliant global auditing system 
• Architecting Dell’s first online “build your own computer” interface 
• Design and consultation for Autobytel’s online used car sales tool

She has also done important design and user experience work for Atlantic Health Systems, Dow Corning, Major League Baseball, Merrill Lynch, MTV Networks, Novartis, Pfizer, Swiss Re, United Airlines and UPS Foundation.

Laurie holds a BA in Music Education and a graduate degree in Education from San Jose State University.
