Amy is a usability and design expert with extensive experience working on Web sites and Web-based applications.

An expert in cognitive and user interface design, Amy leads projects and design efforts, performs user analysis and testing, defines requirements, and develops information architectures and new user processes.

Throughout her career, Amy has conducted extensive customer research and led design efforts that resulted in streamlined customer workflows as well as increased sales and customer satisfaction. She also developed user interface design standards and guidelines to ensure future scalability and maintenance of the design. Amy's industry expertise spans healthcare, financial services, government, manufacturing, software and technology.

Notably, one of Amy’s recent projects includes working with Citigroup to redesign their online financial services portal for international small and middle-market businesses. This work involved streamlining existing online services into a multi-lingual, AJAX-based design. By performing customer interviews, usability testing and redesigning the information architecture, Amy delivered a customized, user-centered design that ensured the diversity of international customer needs and existing business processes were clearly defined and met.

Amy's impressive client list includes IndyMac Bank, Ingersoll Rand, Microsoft, Modular Mining, Qualcomm, State of California EDD, Sun, Toyota, Union Bank of California, Wellcare and Wells Fargo. She has also taught user-centered analysis and concept design courses for HFI’s Certified Usability Analyst certification program.

Amy holds a MS in Human Computer Interaction from DePaul University and a BA in Communication Design from The University of Illinois in Chicago.
