Dr. Eisen specializes in conceptualization and design of world-class user-centered business solutions enabled by technology.
He has led design of multiple global portals, Web sites and rich internet applications for numerous organizations. Dr. Eisen is expert in usability and design of applications, and boasts significant experience in business strategy, program management and financial analysis to support large application initiatives.His work has achieved impressive awards, including:
Throughout his career, Dr. Eisen has worked with numerous global organizations, including AIG Private Client Group, Bank One, Bowne & Co CIBC, Campbell Soup Company, Citigroup, Fleet Bank, Fleet Capital Corporation, Howard Hughes Medical Institute, Investor’s Group and Marshall and Ilsley Corporation.
In addition to his practical work experience, he has served as adjunct professor and designed and delivered courses on human factors of information systems. He also frequently presents at industry conferences on the benefits and techniques of user-centered design and usability assessment. Dr. Eisen is an active member of several professional communities, including the Professional Engineers of Ontario and ACM’s special interest group on Computer Human Interaction (SIG-CHI).
Dr. Eisen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Industrial Engineering from University of Toronto, and Masters of Science and Doctorate degrees in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research with a specialization in Human Factors from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
