The Challenge
After receiving feedback that their site was confusing and difficult to find information, Pfizer was faced with the issue of improving the workflow and usability of part of its public Web site. Within an aggressive timeframe, the company needed to streamline the process of initiating contacts through the site, and improve ease of use and efficiency of contacting the appropriate parties for follow up. To add to the complexity, the newly designed pages needed to use forms that would integrate with a new CRM system.
The Solution
TandemSeven used its experience-centered design process to redesign this portion of the company’s public Web site, validate new designs with users and code the new pages. The team quickly overcame the design challenge and improved usability of the site within the constraints of the existing navigation and structure. Using the newly designed wireframes, they planned and led a usability test with prospective users. Finally TandemSeven coded and tested the HTML pages and worked with the client’s implementation team.
The Results
TandemSeven developed an improved, streamlined way for patients, doctors, consumers and investors to quickly get in touch with the appropriate parties at Pfizer. The new design enabled contact data to be captured through quick forms and stored in Siebel for follow up as required.
