Beset by poor usability, meager functionality and low user affinity, Girl Scouts needed to replace its existing system with a new Sharepoint extranet portal that its 10,000 council members would adopt quickly. Presenters will reveal how a user-centered design approach helped ensure adoption. Topics include:

As Girl Scouts of the USA’s Vice President of Interactive Marketing, Jamie leads a team responsible for managing all existing GSUSA Web properties and Web marketing efforts. He also provides thought leadership and consulting in the areas of Web design, Web development, search engine optimization (SEO), social media, search engine marketing (SEM), Web engagement strategy development, e-commerce, and online branding. Jamie has been with GSUSA since 2005, and his previous ten years of experience were spent in youth and sports marketing, PR, and copywriting in the consumer manufacturing and retail sectors. When he is not behind a keyboard, Jamie likes to get outdoors to surf, sail, snowboard, and ride his mountain bike.
