Watch this webinar About this Webinar Seth Brody is the vice president and general manager of hospitality services & site architecture for Orbitz Worldwide in Chicago, IL, USA. In that role, Seth manages the sale of hotel bookings and dynamic packaging (flight + hotel), revenue management, destination services (including event and attractions ticketing and the sale of other travel services) and telesales. In this role, Seth leads one the of fastest growth businesses in the online travel industry with hotel and dynamic packaging revenues exceeding $1.5BN, surpassing growth of 80% year-over-year for Orbitz Worldwide in 2006. Additionally at Orbitz Worldwide, Seth leads the design and information architecture teams responsible for product development across all of Orbitz Worldwide brands, including Orbitz and CheapTickets in the Americas, ebookers in Europe and HotelClub and RatestoGo, based in Sydney, Australia, with operations globally. Prior to Orbitz Worldwide, Seth was a director of marketing for priceline.com in Norwalk, CT, reporting into the company’s Chief Marketing Officer. At priceline.com, Seth helped increase booking revenues and was responsible for the online experience of the site’s 15 million users. His duties included product development, site performance analysis and also international online marketing for the company’s operations in the United Kingdom. Prior to Priceline, Seth was a product manager for Cendant Interactive Services, Inc., also in Stamford, CT, working on the Netmarket.com brand. Seth also has worked as an independent marketing consultant working with multiple high-profile e-commerce sites. Seth received his MBA from the Harvard Business School and a bachelor’s in American Studies/History from Yale University. He resides with his wife and child in Chicago, IL. Nick Iozzo, Principal User Experience Architect With over a decade of user-centered design experience, Nick leverages a broad and deep understanding of usability and cognitive design. He has a special interest in “object-oriented specifications”—a technique he helped develop to document complex and rich internet applications. As a strategic Internet consultant, Nick has been involved with design and usability testing of over seventy portals, web sites and business applications. He is expert in designing both business-to-business and business-to-consumer eCommerce applications that result in significant business process improvement for clients. |
