We are currently seeking Senior Java Developers in the Dallas area.

Background & Skills

The successful candidate should have strong Java development skills and a willingness to work on a small team of cross-disciplinary UX and development professionals. The candidate should have a strong desire to grow and be challenged.

Responsibilities

      • Create sophisticated, visually compelling solutions for clients
      • Earn a high degree of individual responsibility and ownership
      • Work in a development environment where mastering the software engineering discipline is highly value.

Requirements

      • 5+ years of Java and OO Analysis and Design experience
      • 5+ years experience with the full SDLC including version control, release management, and build management.
      • Experience writing SQL
      • Experience using Eclipse, CVS and Maven
      • Knowledge of MVC architecture and frameworks (such as Struts or Spring)
      • Work with Java-based Web services, Remote Procedure Calls and HTTP Services
      • Ability to design solutions that adhere to architectural guidelines and best practices
      • Experience implementing software solutions that utilize HTML5 and latest JavaScript frameworks.
      • Ability to independently design and deliver complex web applications
      • Clear written and oral communication skills
      • Ability to troubleshoot issues and present solution options
      • Ability to analyze requirements and test plans and provide constructive feedback
      • Ability to build productive relationships across groups and within the technical team
      • Minimum 4-year college degree, Computer Science or engineering

Preferred Skills

      • Experience working with portal technologies, such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or Liferay
      • Experience in content management and content management products
      • Experience with native or hybrid mobile technologies (Objective C, Android SDK, Sencha, Phone Gap) a plus
